I just hit 10k and didn't get the warning. I got it at 5k though. Was it suppose to come on at 10k too?

 

it's supposed to... im at 8900 now. and since 8500 or so, everytime i start the car up, it gives me a little "maint check reqd soon" or something on the little display above the speedometer/tach.

 

It doesn't come on at 10k. It comes on 5k after the last reset. Sounds like you may have had a late reset.

 

The instructions in the manual for the oil change reset says it’s only for the US. I found it strange so I tried it anyway and nothing happened. Not sure why we can’t reset it. I hope it’s because we don’t have a maintenance check light. I find them a nuisance. I prefer to use the nav maintenance menu.
