I LOVE those rims! Did you buy them new from Lexus? Wow, that's the exact setup I'd like. You're not wanting to sell are ya?

What's the exact size of the tires you used up front and in the rear?

Thx a bunch!

BTW, where in KY are ya? I'm in Cincy.

ES3...

I just tried to fit one of my GS4 5-spoke 17x8 wheels on my IS350 and it will not clear the caliper.

I got the rims from an eBay store called Victoria Tire - around $700 for the set. I had to get the center caps from Lexus.

For the front tires, I went with 225/40VR18 and for the rears, 225/45VR18.

Sorry, gonna keep these.

I'm actually just across the river in Ft Wright.

Regarding the GS rims, I was thinking about the 2000 GS400 rims 17inch 5 spoke, I think these are the specs, so you're saying this probably won't fit with a 50mm offset?

Size: 17 x 8
Bolt Pattern: 5 - 114.3 ( 5 lug holes)
Offset: 50 mm
Center bore: 60 mm
Finish: Silver Painted
Style: 5 spoke
Misc: Center cap included (no logo)
The bolt pattern is right, but the offset may be too small - when you use the offset calculator it says 5mm less clearance than the IS 18x8 or 17x8 wheels. The question is if 5mm less clearance will still clear the calipers. I'm not sure, maybe someone else can help here?

By the way, I have to give all the credit to AndyL, who gave me the info on the 3GS wheels. Thanks AndyL!

Cool, lemme ask you this. DId you try your 350 out with the stock summer tread at all in the mild snow? I'm just curious how terrible it would be in this hilly climate, I'm new to the area. How much better where the winter tires and in the dry, do you burn out much easier with the smaller contact patch in the rear than the stock 255?

Also, how did you select those sizes for the tires? Did you consider going with a 225/45/17 and 225/50/17 or anythinge else? Or is that what was recommended?

Thx for checking! What year are your GS4 rims? Are the same as the ones I posted above in the pic!

Kaslead thx a bunch! I'm thinking you may be right about the fit. Anyone else?

AndyL, Would you agree that the stock IS300 rims would likely not work on an IS350?

Hey there, would you mind stating what size tires you have on both the front and rear wheels?

Thx!

Can anyone else confirm whether these will/won't work on an IS350?

Hey there, are you out there!? Please confirm if the rims you tried to fit on your IS350 are the same rims Faymester posted a pic of!

ES3, Yes they are the same rims. They are the factory 17" setup on the GS400s. The spoke did not clear the caliper and the wheel would seat against the hub.

I did that last year and I'm doing it again this year. For as little as it snows here it just isn't worth spending over a grand on a new set of wheels/tires. Just a matter of driving cautiously if there is accumulation on the ground and keeping a safe distance.

Thx for checking. Any idea if they fit on the rear? BTW, have any of you ever used spacers to make wheels fit? I only need these for the winter and am wondering how that may work, with spacers up front? Help!
