I finally did rolling shots this past week.
My set up was...
2 cars rolling at about 70KM
around 1/20
around f16
ISO 100 of course
WRX

the first set weren't as sharp as i would have liked
I found that lighting plays a big factor. The first set was in the sun so the sky was blown out. So I recommend doing it on a cloudy day or at sun set/rise.

Jeez 1/20th? you should bump it up a bit, itll really help on the blurry-ness.
I always shoot around 60/50 but 30 if I really have to.

how fast do you pace the cars? It's hard for me to find a good stretch of road where we can go over 80km.

any amount of speed will look faster if the shutter is open longer. anything from 15 mph to 30 mph should do the trick.

Hey DoHwan, I like the idea but I'm wondering why you didn't follow the natural lines of the hood? As in leaving the exposed carbon fiber so that it meets the edges of the grill and follows them up the hood.
Other than that it looks good, Maybe a black roof would look nice as well.
And to VenZon: I'm not trying to hate or anything but the thread title is "IS250/350 Photography Thread"

DoHwan, cool paint fade onto the CF hood. You should do a black roof too.
Looks good.
