Default 13.491 @ 103.80, stock IS350 with some weight removal.

Last time I ran 13.68 with no weight reduction and a full tank of gas and the temp was about 70*F. This time I took the car to the track with about 1/8 tank of gas. The spare, jack, and some other stuff in the trunk were also removed. I also removed the 2nd air filter in the stock airbox. Weather condition was 56*F and dry. Trac off and left the car in D for all 3 runs. Here's the results of 3 runs.

I'm car #9180

R/T 60' 1/8 1/4 MPH
run1 -.005 2.136 8.746 13.491 103.80
run2 .132 2.177 8.803 13.559 103.72
run3 .065 2.094 8.719 13.491 103.25

This is awesome info. I thought the 350Z would be faster period. Just think if you got a Carbon Fiber hood and trunk lid.

Good time on the IS.

That E55 probably has an ECU & Pulley upgrade.

Were you doing deep or shallow staging when you ran? Reason I ask is that your MPHs are so close in the 10ths of a second, which would make for good bracket racing along with your times.

Nice runs. As for the 350Z, they typically do run low 14's and sometimes high 13's with a good driver at just over 100mph. The GTO, he obviously didn't know how to launch considering his 60' time. The E55, yeah they are beasts! Heck even the C32 AMG's I see run are getting low 12's at 110+mph! Well done.. and don't forget to add your name to the dragtimes.com listing.

BTW...I think you are now the fastest IS350 with the luxury package.

thanks guys, the track I ran the car at is never prep right. They changed management a couple of years ago and everything went down hill for that track. Those 60' are the best I have ever got in my car and I think our stock tires love cold the cold weather. I can never cut a 2.1 when it's hot.

The 350Z has an exhaust because the tips said Indivia(spl?) and I don't know what else he had because I didn't ask. I know it was a touring package because it has them yellow brembros brakes. He was running on BF Drag RAdials also.

The GTO was driven by a young kid, he said it makes something like 360whp but he couldn't hook. He was running 13.6-13.7 all night, he probably felt pretty upset when he got spanked by a 4door LExus lol.

I spoke to the E55's owner who was a very cool and down to earth guy. I am not sure what he had but it may be a after market drop in air filter. He also tear off the intlet of the air snorkel. Those E55 come with very restrictive air snorkel, just by open them up they run faster. You guys with the E55 know what i'm talking about. He was also running on BF drag radials as well. Those cars are fast stock, I've seen a stock one running low 12s on 20's.

not sure what do you mean by deep or shallow staging. I just know that if I want consistent time I would have to run on the same lane and try to gun it after the 3rd light. My reaction time has been improved a bit also. I have to admit the IS is very consistent in term of MPH.

I wanted to go this year but the track close in mid-Sept. Can you believe that? Soon Ill have some strip times with lux to post.

You removed the second air filter? You mean the first one that’s for emission control right?

No need for the "second filter" in the IS350 if you do not have to take it for an emissions check imo. I look forward to running my IS350 luxury package very soon. I hope to get it to a 13.4 if all goes well. I am pretty sure that I can pull it off. It is a little colder in Fl right now and my IS350 is running great. I hope to drag her around the end of December so that I can get it to the track while the weather is cooler.
