This brings up a point, in Hawaii, they don't have "dealer markup" per say. They sell it at msrp. Should I even haggle the price? I mean I'm sure I will try, but I have a feeling if I got in there and say I was $2k off the msrp, he'll look at me like I'm crazy.
I'm sure shipping to Hawaii is more than other places too.

That's unheard of here in the caribbean. Specifically, here in Puerto Rico (US Territory) the basic IS250 with the fewest accesories and options are sold for $39,995. The same happens with the IS350 which are sold for no less than $49,000 without the NAV (lcd display). (Since the navigation signal doesn't work in my area, Lexus America don't want sell cars with the lcd display option, even if you pay big bucks for it). Almost everyone interested in the ISx50 here, ask for lcd display for mp3 playback and the camera but this industrials moguls from Lexus doesn't care what the consumers want. Maybe we boycott would be in place to start seeing some policy changes.
A mere $450 difference is not a real issue dude. If I were you I will go ahead get it today!! Enjoy !!!

I am interested in the following car:
Year: 2007
Model: IS350
Exterior: Glacier Frost Mica
Interior: Black
Options: FT, HL, PT, Z1, LR
Invoice: 34682
MSRP: 39702
Dealership Price: 35500
I calculated the invoice by using Kelley Blue Book, Edmunds, and CarsDirect. All three showed that the car's invoice price is 34682. The above price includes the car, destination fee, and all packages/accessories.
My offer to the sales person was 35200. He said that my invoice calculation was incorrect and that the dealership paid 35127. He told me this AFTER I showed him the Kelley Blue Book, Edmunds, and CarsDirect prices. His offer to me stands at 35500 right now.
My question is: Am I leaving something out in the calculation of the invoice price (e.g. are there some additional fees that are NOT found on KBB, Edmunds, or similar?) Any help would be appreciated.

Question, why are they dumping the cars? Is it a year end special or is this typical to get $1500 or so over invoice?
