Go for IS250RWD Sport or Infiniti G35 Sport

Do yourself a BIG favor. Test drive them both. The G35 is a bigger car. I would rather get the G35 than the IS250. And I think if I test drive the G35 more I would've bought it over the GS350 I got. Mainly because of some issues I have and the +$8k I would be saving.

The reason it is outselling the 350 is because it is available with all wheel drive and a manual transmission. Even here in NJ, a state which is hardly in the snow belt, the vast majority of 2IS I see on the road are the AWD version.

I was afraid people were going to come to that conclusion. I hope Lexus doesn't.

Back to the topic: I would choose the 250 over the G mainly because the the quality, look, service, and the depreciation.

350 is the way to go. don't get me wrong i love my 250 but it's very very slow i test drove the ES and it was way faster than my 250, and it sounded better too. if u really can't get the 350 then get the G because the G looks alot like the Ms this year i think they are very nice looking cars, plus they have all the power u want and the interior quality from what i have seen has omproved. hope this helps

But that’s exactly why some of us bought a 250. Ours is for my wife who does not need that extra power but the car maintains that Lexus quality and design. This, along with it having a lower price tag than the 350, is why it’s selling almost 3-to-1 over the 350 and is turning out to be one of the smartest decisions the manufacturer ever made.
Now having said that, MY next car may be a IS350.
