If you cant understand what he's saying... take a step back, and read another thread.

There is no need for this attitude here on Club Lexus. I can feel the suspension stick coming around the corner.
Well said. I've cleaned up the rudeness.

When i got my IS i felt i overpaid, but what does it matter? You really cannot do anything once you own it, just enjoy your car and you will be better educated when you buy your next car. Every car i have bought i have always walked away feeling ok, but then the day after i start thinking about it. I think its normal to second guess your purchase, be it a car or a computer. I say just enjoy your new purchase knowing that you got an outstanding car and value even if you did pay a few hundred more then the next guy.

We do not know your tax rate or how much licensing fees are, so it's difficult when you give us an out-the-door price.

If it helps, if you go to http://www.lexus.com and type in your postal code on the Build an IS section, you can select the car and options that you purchased (looks like X-Package w/ Nav), and it'll give you the MSRP of that car that you can compare with your window sticker or your negotiated final price of the car before tax and stuff.

i think that price is about right considering i paid about that much for my car too and im from Washington... so no worries just enjoy ur car because its a beautiful vehicle either way!

so if ur getting a 350... with the X-package + Navi... for 42K OTD??... if so then thats a GREAT deal but if u changed ur mind along the way then i might be a lil confused, hahaha

Almost everyone wonders if they paid too much when they purchase a big ticket item. It is human nature. It is too late to do anything about it so don't dwell on it or it will just sour your enjoyment of your car. Forget about it and go take a nice drive in your IS.

sometimes I think I overpaid.. but I love the car, and to me it was worth what I paid. I got the 250 rwd with premium and navi for 40k otd including tax title and license and all that. It's too late now to do anything and I love my car so I don't even think about it

From what I understand... he hasn't actually purchased his car yet. It's diffucult to say what is good/bad b/c he did not post any accessories/options.

Try calling Lexus of Portland and Kendall Lexus of Eugene (Adrain Knight) and see what pricing you can get. If they quote you less, use it as a leverage to negotiate your purchase price. Good Luck tomorrow!
