No, you can't use firmware from a different generation of hardware.

I am still having problems with navigation Override hybrid disk. It works fine for saved in-memory locations but does not allow me to enter address or POI. I saw some info online about folks having the same problem with 10.1 - did anyone figure out how to resolve it?

I am sorry to bring back the old post.
with the recent sale price of $99 for brand new Nav update, wanted to check if anyone created a hybrid disc using the latest map info?
