Default Want To Lower IS250 AWD

Has anyone lowered their IS250 AWD? Will it effect the AWD system? I can't stand the gap between the wheel well and the tire. I know that some people have lowered their IS250 RWD, but what about the imfamous AWD? Huh huh huh????

Any suggestion is much appreciated. I apologize if this has already been posted.

there are people that have lowered with no problems. shouldn't make a difference and should be just about the same as with rwd. seems like the wheels gaps are a 1/2" bigger. check the aftermarket wheel thread. there are numerous people with lowered awd.

i say if you lower the awd, since the gaps are huge, maybe the tanabe GS springs. they'll give you the most drop, something like 1.8"F/1.4"R... i don't remember exactly.

i lowered my AWD in june on the tanabe nf210s with no problems whatsoever..the drop is supposed to be .8 front and 1.0 rear, but i feel like it dropped more than that
the drop looked a bit uneven when i had the 19x8 wheels on, but with my new 20x8.5 & 20x10s..the drop looks perfect

here is a recent thread that someone else in canada posted about lowering the AWD..theres a few pics in there too

yeah, i think with awd, you're gonna get pretty uneven gaps comparatively with front/rear but that can easily be adjusted with the right sized tires/wheels.
