Default Anyone know a good wheel repair shop in NY/NJ/PA Area?

I have a set of Volk Racing GT-7 RBC that are damaged. All four wheels have scuff damage (some are really deep) and one wheel has a really noticable dent in the lip. It's kinda big and I'm surprised the air doesn't escape. Well, the scuffs don't really bother me but the dent really do. If anyone knows a good wheel repair shop that may be able to repair this in NY/NJ area please let me know. The finish is a special coating so I need some assurance that it won't be messed up. Thanks.

I badly dented my rim and had a slight crack. They did a really good job fixing it. The shop specializes in wheel alignments and wheel repair. Hope that helps.

Ninezero, that really sucks to see your wheels like that. Hope you find a good shop that will be able to fix them properly.

Can I ask how that happened? Big pot hole? Do you think the wheels are a bit weak?

thanks for the help gizbx4, i will check that place out.

redpaste: yep, it was a huge pothole acutally. there is some major construction going on near my home and it was acutally a double pothole. there was no streetlight so i didnt even see it. all four wheels hit the holes pretty hard but only one is damaged badly. i dont think the wheels are weak. especially these ones (GT series). It was one of the biggest potholes I ever hit (and I have hit lots of potholes). The sound when I hit was so loud I thought it broke my car in half. Luckily it was just a dent on the lip. I think any other wheel and it would have dented to the point where air would leak quickly. I actually have been driving with this dent for some time now (6 months or so -- i think). I never put air in my tires until few weeks ago and there was still 28-29 psi in the damaged wheel. well, thanks for the interest.

The place below fixed my rim on my CL600. This was a chrome rim that was bent badly and they fixed to almost brand new condition. They charge around $100 per rim. It's one of the most popular tire and rim shops in BK.

I tried this new place in Queens and they did a great job. Papo's Auto Clinic. They are at 103-08 219th Street. Queens Village, NY 718-776-4114. The guys were real nice and they do the work right there on premises and have all the professional equipment. Other places send them out. They are real craftsmen...I have seen some really bad rims there (like those missing a piece) and when I came back they look brand new. So before you throw them away or other places tell you it can't be done, I would get a second opinion.
