Don't hate. It looks good. 
If I had a bimmer then no question...but to me it says to much about bimmer...not hating but that's just my competitive nature. No sleeping with the enemy...
Personally, I would have done white LED or 4300k like white light for the parking lights or DRL's or whatever.
is that really all it costs? I am surprised others have not done this.

Is it me or does the insides of the headlight housings look like their paited black?
I think it looks sick, but for my taste i would go with super white bulbs with the halos a slight tinge of blue, just enogh to be noticible.
Does anyone know of a place in NY that would be able to do a good job on these?

Too aftermarket to me..I prefer the clean look..What would be cool is some small LED's (white w/a HINT of purple) somewhere in the light in a way that goes w/the body...kinda like the LED's on the Japan foglights. That's cool.

I vote SEXY! I think I would go with a more whiter/bluer color.
Red (if you are daring would be sick with matador red)
Those to me look even more like a bimmers since they have the OEM halogen white color. REGARDLESS DAM SEXY!

It uses cold cathode flouresent lighting. Other systems use LED or fiber optic, neither run very hot. I dont htink anyting would be much hotter than what the stock bulbs run anyway. Heat wouldnt be an issue either way.
