ISX50 Alarm sufficient to protect the car?
Will the stock alarm that came with the ISX50 be sufficient to protect the car? How many of you get an aftermarket alarm once you get your car? I notice that some factory alarms only comes on when you open the door without disarming it first or breaks a window. Other than that, it's pretty much useless.
This is a beautiful car, and I'm sure there will be people out there who wants to steal it. How difficult will it be to steal this car? Sorry if I'm being paranoid, and I don't even own the car yet. hehe

I don't know how they will get the compatability of the key fob with an aftermarket system. Since there isn't really a key or anything.
Nowadays, if people steal a car, they can do it. How? Tow the car away. It's rare nowadays that people will break into a lot of these high tech cars, it's just time consuming as compared to just towing, and working at it when they get to their secret hideout or something.

No glass breakage and shock sensor? That's shocking to hear. So these items can be added to the existing factory alarm and make it worth while. If this is the case, then you would not need a complete aftermarket alarm right? I don't want another remote hanging from my keychain.

I live in McKinney, TX.
I haven't heard of any Lexus dealer installing aftermarket alarm sensors. I would just go to a car stereo shop. The sensors just need to be tied into a door pin switch. If any of the aftermarket sensors are triggored, the OEM alarm will sound because it thinks the door opened.
