Congragulations.
No break-in PM's from me.....I'm sure you know the routine backwards and forwards.
I had a 1st-Gen yellow IS300 for almost 5 years.....one of the best cars I ever owned. Had the 55-series all-season tires, though. 45's are a little rough for some of the roads around here. The 45's on your car shouldn't be much of a problem, though, on the generally smooth SoCal roads....and you obviously won't need the 250AWD model.

Congratulations on the car! Definitely a good call not to get the front plate drilled. If you ever get pulled over, just keep the front plate in the trunk, show it to the officer, and tell him that it's the dealer's fault. (This has worked for me 5 times in the last year)
