for those who leased

I know a loaded IS250 versus a loaded IS350 will be cheaper, but I was comparing Khoongy with his base IS350 vs a Loaded IS350 and payments on that. As to other vehicles I mentioned I was never comparing them to a lexus just saying that they got much better leasing programs. What's better a 40K car for 640 a month or a 50k car for 640 a month, a flight to florida for 200 or a flight to hawaii for 200, a 400k house for 3,000 a month or a 600k house for 3,000 a month. I rest my case. the better the program and rates the better the deal. Just because everybody is paying a lot for the IS on a lease doesn't mean that it's a good deal.
What if the 200 Hawaii flight is during tropical storm season? It's useless. I'd rather go to Disneyworld in Florida.
What if the 600k house is in NY and 300k house is in CA? I'd rather live in CA.
I'm saying no matter how good the price is, if you don't want it then it's completely useless.

You're referring to the opportunity cost of the money (saving X% in interest) v. investing that money in stocks, bonds, etc. This definitely makes sense but you're gambling, plain and simple.

I work for Toyota. Our average is 2500.00 a deal. We don't pound like the domestic's...and 9 outta 10 of our customers have 720+score. I've been at this dealership for 4yrs and was previously at Chevrolet and let me tell you, there are alot of people who have bad credit that go into those stores, I miss the huge deals! But we do really well at Toyota. I'm very satisfied w/the money I make considering my education! No college! Car business when I was 18!

I vote this thread as the worst of the week and Asiangirl007 as the worst information material in the worst thread. Please dont give advise if you dont know/or back up all the BS you have been writing!!!

Luxury plus package (LT) with 18" wheels
Navigation (NV)
Park Assist (PA)
Headlamp Washers (HW)
Accessory Package wheel locks, trunk mat, cargo net (Z1)
I also wanted the Mark Levinson but in the NorthEast that can only be done by a custom order and I couldn't wait 3-4 months.
Over the last 8 years I have leased 6 cars ('98 Jeep Grand Cherokee, '99 Lexus RX300, Lexus '01 IS300, '02 Acura MDX, '04 Infiniti G35 6MT, '06 Lexus GX470) and of course I leased this 2007 IS350 as well.
MSRP: $43,982
Price paid: $39,227 (that is $4,755 off negotiating 20 mins on the phone)
Standard Money Factor (MF) for Dec: 0.00255
Reduced MF by putting down 9X refundable security deposits ($4725): 0.00165
Residual value after 36 months/45k miles: 57%
Monthly lease payment: $481 + 9% tax in PA = $525
Closing costs (1st month payment $525, bank fee $600, docs + tags $324): $1,449
REMEMBER IT IS USUALLY BEST TO NEVER PUT ANY CAP REDUCTION DOWN ON A LEASE
Not a bad deal for a 15k miles per year 3 year lease.
The car is fantastic and the dealership made sure it had no front plate and nobody touched it except to PDI it this morning (15 miles on odometer). Shame it rained 10 minutes after I picked it up...

I was on the BMW site lastight and Smoky was right about leasing a 335 for less than a 350 but the big thing that was left out is the required money up front, BMW wants $4399 up front that includes $2500 down payment after you pay all that then you can get a coupe for starting at $500 a month. I don't know about the rest of you but I need 4 doors. So I'll keep what I got.

I give kudos to the Lexus Salesguy who educated me on the Multiple Security Deposits idea a few weeks back - I am saving $2088 over the 3 years lease period with NO RISK of losing the $4725 deposit. Not many people seem to know about this option...
