Yea, I'm kinda pissed, cuz now I need a new camera to truly capture it
. AZ, I had to move the car relative to the sunshine until I got the "pop" I wanted from the paint. It comes out best in photos with the camera between 45 and 90 degrees relative to the sunlight, I shot with the sun always over my left shoulder. For some reason, it didn't work as well on the right side.
I think it actually looked best with a really diffuse flourescent light, like the one in the delivery bay at the dealer...it really gave the paint a lot of texture, and I almost want to sneak back and take some pictures there. A slightly overcast day would give some similarly diffuse light, though, you're right.
GFM was my only color choice, ever, period. Well, after I moved from wanting a GS350 in Quartz Shadow...I think each specific car has a color that it looks good in. If I were to buy an S4, for instance, it'd be black, no question. My PT Cruiser? Red. There's just some colors that look better on specific cars.
No pics of the interior until I figure out my LED order and install them...I'm thinking blue all the way through...
No on the Axis Pentas? I kinda like em, but everyone's doing mesh these days...I'm actually not a big fan of huge lips on wheels, I'm seriously consider the G-Spiders for the price and look...does anyone know if they're also silver painted? I HATE painted wheels, I'd almost like to strip the paint on the OEMs and give them a brushed finish and a clearcoat.

Thanks! The more and more mods I look at, the more and more I just want to keep it as clean as possible. The red-out tails are something that JDM and European laws don't allow, but I think they look way cleaner. The blue interior will just look plain cool, and its a good compromise between over-lighting the interior and keeping it too dark. The clearbra accomplishes nothing aside from paint protection, and I'm gonna go with a pretty light ceramic tint, mainly for functionality. The drop is just, well, necessary, and I'm leaning more and more to Lexus-spec'd wheels (G-Spiders)...
