True story:
when your boss sits in your car, and says "well I needed a car right away, so I went with the z4. I wish I had waited 4 more months."
It seems like this thread was getting out of control..but its back to normal now...i think.

this one is specifically for for the IS350
when you run a 13.6 at the dragstrip and you tell people that it's stock when they asked but they don't believe you. They going to look under the hood to see if you're hiding the nitrous lines.

You really can't have too much unless it becomes arrogance.
I have yet to drive another car I would be more proud to own than my Lexus.

Interesting perspective. This is what was sorely lacking from my Infiniti [besides quality]: Prestige. Nevertheless, prestige is defined by what attributes him/herself assign to vehicle ownership, so there is no correct answer.

I have to say, I'm a little bit disappointed with the amount of pretentiousness I'm seeing in this thread. Sure, they're great cars, but by no means, IMHO, do they give you the right to:
- Think you're better than anyone else
- Be unnecessarily harsh to anyone making (what seems to me to be) tongue-in-cheek "negative" comments
Nothing wrong with a little pride in your purchase, but it's disappointing to see it being taken as far as it is.
High horse dismounted.

True enough, but that point is different for each person who reads it.
Ah well, here's my contribution (in the spirit of being fun):
When the guy who lives across the street walks over while you're giving it a wash, and asks if you "wanna drag" with his SSR.
