Default Clear bra good or bad (Not the 3M)

I know it has been talked about. Has any one had poblems with pealing fading or anything else since they have had it installed.

I could not find a good thread on it through the search.

I also live in Florida so I'm worried about the intense sun.

Thanks Guys

Mine (3M) was installed by an "expert" with the new IS X50 kit and it has started to peel a ittle. We just trimmed it a few millimeters. I am not completely sold on it yet. If it stays put for a few years then I think I got my $$ worth.

IF the edges peel.. it is due to it not curing well before it touched water. What i did was apply pressure along the seems ever so often to make sure it is sticking.

Also it is good to keep your car dry for atleast a week before washing it again. Park it in the sun.. let it get some heat.

So far, my 3M clear bra is holding up very well and I am very satisfied.

Fortunately, i got the 3M clear bra installed within the first 300 miles.

Now when i wash the car and I run my hands across the clear bra, i feel dents in the bra from rocks.. but no rock chips as of yet.

I think the 3M clear bra is the best investment for this new car.

3m film sucks, yellows and isn't as impact resistant as venture. They have a new clear coat shield out. Very worthwhile... www.ventureshield.com

not trying to hijack this thread, but I was wondering how the bumper and hood can be waxed/polished with clear bra on?
