Bought my IS350 today (see sig for details)... MSRP was $44,902, I paid $42,133 OTD...
Sales tax on cars here is 3%... So I think paid a little less than $1500 over invoice with the TOL discount... I got some extra money shaved off here and there by the finance guy since I agreed not to use my credit card to pay for some of it, lol... Gotta use every tactic you can

i meant the $ 100 over invoice in general.
the reality is that no dealer is going to sell a car for so little. they aren't millionaire because they give away cars. how do they pay the rent, lights ,phones, interest on the cars sitting on the lot, pay the dealer, sales manager, toilet moppers.
be real!. anyone who says that they got the car at invoice or $100 bucks above, is free to scan the sales reciept onto the web site. any takers!

Since you're leasing I would strongly suggest you get a car in December as there are specials right now. In terms of "deals" December ranks first with August a close second btw.
I see you're in Florida, contact Shannon at JM Lexus and see what she can offer you. It's worth a shot. They are a vendor here so please mention Club Lexus.
Good luck.

I wish all customers were like you!! If a customer pays 100 over invoice and the customer finances the vehicle, the dealership will still get the holdback on the vehicle (on this type of car it's 700+) plus a flat fee from TMCC or whichever lender, of around 250-450 considering the amount financed was 25-45k. So usually around 1050+ on a 100 over invoice deal. We don't have any hostage fees either.... lol.

Good replies,
So the one I am pricing on www.kbb.com has the following options:
Nav with ML, Luxury Package, Sport Package. MSRP is $44,105 Invoice is $38,411. I don't think it is unreasonable to expect to negotiate a deal of say $40K for this car do you? Especially when My salesman has been very pushy lately. I think they wanna close the deal ASAP. We have been wasting alot of time going back and forth

This is a good discussion thread. I don't think the option of getting a used IS is achievable in reality. There just aren't that many used IS's out there. Perhaps there will be when the first batch comes off their 36 month leases, but that is 18-24 months away. So you would just be lucky if you find a real used one, and that isn't likely from long distance.
I'm not sold on leasing, especially for the long term. But perhaps it will work for you if you only want to keep the car 3-4 years. I never go into a relationship (car, house, or other) for only 3-4 years, so I buy and keep for 6-8 years, so buying is cheaper for me long term.
Good luck in your quest, and stay safe.
