Default Buying an IS out of state

I am considering buying an IS out of state, but I am hesitant to do so as this would be my first time buying a car out of state.

If I had issues with the car that needed to be looked at under warranty, would I have to take my IS back to the original dealer for them to deal with? Or is it possible to take it to any dealer?

Are there any other drawbacks to purchasing a car out of state?

Thanks,
naga

Well, warranty is offered by Lexus nationwide, meaning it can be serviced under warranty if there is anything wrong within the US by any lexus dealer.
Buying a car from out of state is not hard, but you need to do some extra paper work, such as registering the car under your state, and pay tax, which you do not have to deal with when you buy it from the your state dealer.
