No, we never figured out a way to do both my method and yours with just 1 switch...

My switch does the following:

1) OFF position - Normal nav hack
2) ON position - VSS wire totally disconnected, jumpy nav, destination entry possible

Your switch does the following:
1) OFF position - Everything like stock
2) ON position - Normal nav hack

I would have needed two switches, or a 3-way switch to do both our hacks together, and I didn't have the motivation to do that

Not the actual input destination thing.
Ah ok, my bad. So you can still hack the dvd player and phone stuff while driving?

heheh yeah you are right.

So you did the hack for your 07? Now you can input nav destination address while in movement with the simply VSS wire interrupt?

Technique.. PM me with your email address.

Check my webpage for an explanation of the hack I did. Here's the exact page:

Correct, I did the normal nav hack on my 07 and it works perfect. Additionally, I an input nav destination while in movement with a slip of the switch which causes the VSS wire to be interrupted.

hehe, if the dealership had given them to me for free maybe, but I don't "own" them, I still have to go back to the dealer and trade them back for the stock wheels...

Man, I had no idea how many people liked the ISP Modes... I really didn't like them until I saw them in person, now they are growing on me...

Nice ride, Technique .... glad you finally got your wheels. Just curious as to why there was a further delay in your originally ordered vehicle? Any guidance from dealer/lexus as to what happened?

Thanks man!

As far as the special order, unfortunately there was no word... Lexus is TOTALLY silent on what is going on until your car is built and on a boat headed to the US... It's the worst ordering process I've ever seen for a car... It's bad for business, which hurts their dealers and Lexus... Lexus should take a look at BMW's special ordering process and take a few lessons...

CONGRATS! How much did they want to charge for the ISP modes?

How did you find a car with ML on the lot? That is crazy luck. We need to have an Xmas gathering in Nova.

It was TOTAL luck... And perfect timing...

I have not asked about the ISP Modes yet... The MSRP different is like $600, but who knows what the dealership will want to charge me...

Yes, we need a NOVA meet... But I think we should also all take a drive out to the Shenandoah mountains and do some scenic driving... Shinobi-X was interested in that, but I haven't seen him around in a while...

You guys would hate me on a drive like that. I am SLOOOOOOW.

Really, the only reason I got the 350 is because of my Pride. Since my NA 3000 was 222HP, I couldnt buy a car with less HP. Though, in reality, the 250 would have been fine for me.

Man you really really got lucky. I cant beleive you found a car with Mark Levinson on the lot... in the east coast.

LOL, that's what the salesmen kept telling me... They were like "Do you know how rare this car is?" and I was just totally unemotional and was like "Hey, it's just a car, ok?" ROFL... I got SOOOOOOO lucky, I know...

And dude, not only was it ML, it was the EXACT color I wanted... Even the options, everything... If only they knew...

But anyway, it was a win-win situation... In the end they made over $1000 profit and I got my car... Everyone is happy...

Oh, by the way, I bought the wheel/tire warranty!!! ROFL!!! $360 for 5 years... I broke 5 rims in 2006 hitting potholes in my various cars driving through DC, so I figure over the next 3 years I have my IS350 I will probably shatter all 4 wheels many times over... I figure, each rim is $200 at cost, so if I break 2 rims I'm already ahead... Anyway, it's all peanuts... Just fun to say that I bought the extra service that the F&A guy pushed... hehe...
