I'm confused. So if you got it for $1300 over invoice then that should have been $40,800 after taxes assuming a low 6% sales tax that comes out to $43,248. Did you trade a car in or something. If not it sounds more like you got that thing right at invoice then added TTL for your OTD of $42,000

We have property tax on cars though... I wonder what it's going to be on the IS350... Probably like $500/year at least...

Congrats though!
Haha, I agree completely. That was the first thing I thought when I saw your pics, but I read your explanation and it makes sense. However, I wont park my 7 year old car next to the shopping cart return. I just can't do it.

Nice ride and thanks for all the pics.

Thanks man... I did a few more things today, including added the front spoiler... It's all on my website, but I'll start a new thread since I don't see any DIY thread on the front ground effects spoiler...

hehehe... You probably think I take it to the non-touchless gas station car wash that has those rubber/cloth things hanging down that slap your car right??? You're thinking this because I parked my car next to the cart return at the Lowes the day I got it right???

lol... I actually washed the car myself, by hand... I enjoy doing it and find that no place (even the most expensive hand wash places) dry the cars properly...

BTW, our side-view mirrors continue to drip for like 1 hour... They REALLY hold in the water!

Does that cost go down each year as the car gets older?
