Default I (Technique) got my IS350 last night...

Yes, I finally got it... The special order never happened, there was some sort of delay, and it would have been 5+ months for me to get my car... So, I got lucky and found almost the exact same car while randomly visiting another lexus dealer... I went there last night after finding out my special order was toast and bought the car on the spot...

Pics are in my sig, but here are a few...

I got the car last night, and spent the morning doing all the hacks (yes, less than 12 hours after buying the car I ripped it apart)... Plus a special override hack I haven't seen anyone do on the IS350 yet... Anyway, check my website in my sig for all the pics/details... I've got some short video clips as well that might interest some people...

Oh, the ISP Mode rims are not mine... I don't like them, and I did not pay for them... I need to take my car back to the dealership sometime next week to have them put back on the stock wheels... For whatever reason, this car had the ISP Mode wheels on... I will probably end up chroming the stock wheels...

The third picture really shows you the blue in the Black Sapphire color where the sun shines on it...

I dunno, I prefer the stock wheels... And I'm sure the dealer will want like $1000 for the ISP Mode's over the stock wheels... If I was to do ISP Mode or G-Spider I'd order through Sewell Lexus with a trade-in...

I will talk to the dealer, they may want to give me the ISP Modes for a big discount since they won't have to transfer TPMS sensors and all that crap if I just keep them...

Weren't you the one that said they would absolutely NOT be able to live with the HW?!? I quote ... when I heard about this I modified my order and REMOVED the Headlamp washer option. Really upset me.... HAHA

LOL, yes, but if you read the end of the headlamp washer thread, I actually figured out a "Headlamp washer hack" that disconnects the automatic washing of the headlamps when you wash the windshield... hehehe... So after the hack, I saw no downside to getting the HW's... I figured this out before making the purchase I will post details on the HW hack if there is any demand...

Oh, I didn't want Z1 either, but heck, the dealer gave me the car for so much less than any other IS350 I could have gotten... I ended up getting it for less $1500 over invoice, so I couldn't argue... With the perks they threw in it was like $1000 over invoice...

Looks good!! When you bring it to have the rims swapped, have them update your inspection sticker. It looks like its from Oct? Was it sitting on their lot for two months?

Which dealer did you end up buying from?

Ya, the car arrived at the dealership 10/18/2006... I don't know if I'm going to bother with having them give me a sticker for 2 months savings :-)

It is actually the nav hack for ML Video, Phone Book, etc...

Not the actual input destination thing.
