So it looks like the stock lip and the GFX Front Spoiler are about the same height...

We both have the sport suspension, so it should be the same height...
Agree, 6.5 - 6.75" seems right. So the Ground Effects front lip does not decrease ground clearance compared to stock, yet still adds a more aggressive look to the front - this is a good thing. Ok, I think I'm sold. Darn you Technique, you're costing me more money . . .

hahaha... You know, the mechanics in the shop where I was installing this were sort of giving me a hard time at first, saying stuff like "Man, why are you going to junk up your brand new car with ground effects? It's low enough as it is, and you're going to be scraping and stuff..."

Then, during and after I put it on, they were like "WOAH, that looks really good." They sort of looked at it from ground level and said "It doesn't seem to be any lower at all, just sticks out further and looks more aggressive!"

I was like "Ya, it's made by Lexus, so you know it's gonna look OEM. Hell, it's part of the X-Package option."

So, ya, the fact that you don't lose ground clearance is huge... Plus the installation is easy, and the group buy price makes it a bit more reasonable of a cost... $300+ is still expensive for a piece of plastic, but whatever...

Nope, just the front air dam... I decided against the side and rear ground effects... Also no rear spoiler for me...

Look further up in this thread, I posted a like to another ground effects DIY that shows how the rear skirt goes on, I think they also show the side skirts... Not sure if you have to drill but I couldn't imagine so... The side skirt ground effects are almost identical to the stock ones... Probably just plug and play...

Are you sure, can you post a link ? The GB for $289 + shipping is the lowest price I've seen online or on ebay . . .

Ya, I know the shop owner, so using the lift for an hour or so is not a problem Plus they are the best shop in the area, especially for auto body work...

Dunno about the tire shop, that's a separate business next door... I would never buy a used tire, lol...

so you didn't do any drilling? what did you do with the part of the spoiler that goes into the slotted holes that you're suppose to drill? did you just cut those fins off?
