Get an IS350 or get the 250 & use the 4K to customize my Harley?
Hi guys, I am between the IS350 and the IS250, but, I also want to do some customizing of my stock HD. I don't know if anybody can relate to this, but, I would be interested in your opinons/comments. I have to admit to not test driving the IS yet, but, It will probably come down to a decision like this. I guess I am leaning towards the IS250. Who knows, maybe I can have both.

well i'll tell you what i did. i bought the IS350, and now i'm gonna sell my R6 so i can buy a kit and wheels. i'll tell ya, i was also debating btwn a 250 and 350, and thank god i decided on the 350.
i think if i woulda got the 250, i'd feel a part of me die every time i see a 350 pass by on the street.

Buy the IS350- I almost thought about the same thing-
Then I drove them both- and had to have the IS350- because I am a muscle car guy and love power- even thought the 6 speed was tempting-
I am always looking to do things to my classic cars- but I only drive those on the weekends- I have to drive the IS everyday- thats the way I think anyways- and the $4000 didnt make that big of a difference in my monthly payment-
so if anything- mod the bike and buy the IS350 and budget for a little bit bigger payment-

Depends what you primarily use the car for. If you're a daily commuter in the suburbs or a grocery getter, then a 250 would suffice. But if you're a power hungry alpha male, a 350 would suit you better. I got the 250 because it was 4-5K less, insurance is less, and is essentially the same as the 350, minus the 100hp. I couldn't justify paying 40K+ for a near-lexury sedan. Most people really don't need 300+hp anyways. Are you gonna be towing a boat or what with 300+ horses?

300+ ponies comes in handy, and the IS350 is the best bang for the buck. Look at it this way, how much u think it'll cost to mod a IS250 for another 100 horses, probably more than $5k.

I was thinking about IS250 and smoke weed with the change, but I decided against it.
I think the best thing is go test drive both and see the difference. I think that would be the best.
After driving IS350, honestly, i feel like 4K is well worth it for the power that you get from the bigger motor. It's good to have power when you need it.
