Can I special order and still lease??

Yes it is possible for you to special order and lease the car. The only thing you have to do is just leave a deposit and they will special order the car for you. But if you do want to special order a car be prepare to wait 4-5 months for the car.

Yes, and you can also haggle on the car and refuse delivery if the deal doesn't work out. Don't feel bad about walking away from the deal if the salesperson isn't reasonable.

Not necessarily - the dealer that I ordered my IS350 from is holding the "December to Remember" lease rate w/my vehicle arrives in Mar/Apr - it would be up to the dealer to allow this and it sounds like most will not.

They'd be buying it down. They have NO control over what the factory offers and CANNOT hold them. That's why it says that they aren't avail for presold orders that aren't delivered during that time. Contract date has to be w/in a certain time frame. I deal w/TMCC everyday and they DO NOT make exceptions on specials. The dealer and the bank are two different entities.

That's exactly what I did - the terms/monies was all in writing before I signed the contract and agreed to order the vehicle [the lease rate was a DtoR rate]. Perhaps I should have been clearer and avoided the word "hold".
