Default No DVD Map/Unable to Read Data on DVD

I just picked up my new IS350 SGM/Sterling LUX/NAV/ML yesterday and the navigation was working fine on our drive back from the dealer, but today I am getting the above message. This was after I was playing around with the nav and getting use to its functions.

Does anyone know what is wrong? Was the dealer suppose to give my my nav dvd or is it in the car somewhere?

Thanks,
naga

Do you think that in playing with it, you might have accidently hit the "eject DVD" button?

If so, you'll probably want to bring the car back to the dealer. The nav DVD slot is behind the clock, and the tools to DIY are in the toolkit, but you probably don't want to risk defacing the plastic on your first day of ownership.

Yeah, I think your right Bichon. I am an idiot - I hope I didn't do any permanent damage. I just looked in the manual and it says that if you do hit the "eject DVD" button without removing the faceplate before hand it causes a malfunction.

It's not likely you did any damage. Just ask the service department to pop off the clock panel and push the disk back in.

You hit the eject button... Go into your trunk... Lift up the cover and to the left of the spare is the toolkit... In there, you'll find two little picks... Take those out and look in the owner's manual, it shows how to remove the clock face... Remove the face and load the partially ejected DVD back into the slot...

Or, go to the dealer...
