Yeah, but the point is the same. You gotsta to calm down. No need to call anyone out here.
I assume that you are a BMW guy, and that's great, so take this for what its worth:
My experience: Having spent a few years doing the BMW thing, including forum banter I've found that, apart from a few classless threads on CL that make me want to vomit rice, most people on here are far less fan-boi like than on the BMW forums.
In fact, I'd be willing to bet that if you posted a thread in the opposite vein on CL (stock 335 ran a 12.9 and beat a 13.5 IS350) you'd probably get similar congratulatory responses. No hating, no calling out, just nice race.
If anything, as a 335 fan, you should be honored that some of the IS owners are aspiring to match and beat the vaunted benchmark which is the BMW.
I don't think anyone here really thinks that an IS350 beats a stock 335 anymore than 50% of the time....and most owners on here would probably consider that a better than average result.
Lesson: just chill and enjoy the ride.

The 335 is the king of the game (///M aside). It is the benchmark, it is the measuring stick and the top cop. Everyone takes square aim at the best; some aspire and some try to knock it off its pedestal by sheer hate. Just look at the Red Sox and the Patriots. The haters come out of the woodwork.
Smart people take it as a sign of respect.

I had an is350 I have a e92 335... At the end of the day this video was a stock car vs a modded car. Which is fine they both went to the track to see what times they can get. The problem comes when people start comparing 335 vs is350 when your really not comparing apples to apples. In an apples to apples race(stock vs stock) the 335 is faster. In an apples to apples race (modded vs modded) the 335 is faster. But by no means am i saying the is350 is slow it is no where near slow. But at the end of the day this is a good video showing a fast is350 and a stock 335. Love both cars no flaming intented.

335i vs IS350 is not apples to apples either. One is NA (almost perfectly tuned from factory with almost no aftermarket parts support) the other is turbocharged (and has a lot of performance and aftermarket parts support). If you would like to take on a match, the true match would be a vishnu tuned 335i vs MKIV supra BPU+++. I'm sure anyone can predict what would be the outcome.
