I knew this thread would cause a buzz lol................I think overall the 335i has more potential as far as the aftermarket in making it faster but this one lost to the IS350 end of story.........
whattt no improvement with a $5500 s/c
so RoRo had it then just got rid of it becuase it did nothing?
It seems that he just had too many traction problems, so he couldn't beat his best NA time. He still has the SC, but hasn't been doing much with it acording to his last post.

Bull pucky... strait up... End of story. You any take any car made today and depending how much money you drop into it, you can make it faster than any other car. Them drifting IS350’s are probably pretty damn fast.
It can be said in this way "Its easier to get more power out of the 335 "cheaper" then the IS350". As you recall, the 335 gets its power from twin turbos. There’s some joker out there with a lot of money who could bolt twin turbos on an IS350.
oh well i wonder if he had some sticky tires and got a good launch if he would be runnin some fast times..
I'm pretty sure his best time was on street tires before the SC. I think he just had a custom exhaust and gutted interior. He later got some light weight 17" wheels and drag radials to go with his SC, but still couldn't beat it due to traction. It didn't make much sense to me.
I just noticed that the Texas Motorplex is having a $15 Test and Tune on Saturday starting at 9 AM. It might be hard to decide between that and the lake ...
nice.. IS Texas Motorplex open in december? Because I will be driving back home and would love to hit that place up for my first drag race.. "legal one"
