Hey guys, not to beat a dead issue... but I beat 335 coupe today too. It was his first time at the track and my third time. Too bad we didn't actually line up together and I had to leave after his first run. He was automatic but he left traction control on. His first run was 13.8xx but his 60 feet was horrendous 2.2xx. His trap was pretty good at 103.xx I ran 13.44 today. Totally stock, stock air filter (original air filter with 23,000 miles). Stock tires, rims, and pressure and 1/2 tank. Odd thing is that this is my third time and my first two times were 13.8xx at best but today, after 1.5 years of no drag racing, I knocked off .4 seconds! Almost ALL my 60 feet times were under 2.0 seconds!!!

Whatever you say, I smell bull****.
I'm sure a 335i can rape the Is350 on a track. I test drove one before I bought my BMW and it felt like a corolla with a **** load of power.

Oh and your full of a ****. The M3 can rape the IS350, the is350 is not a racing car. It's a luxury car that has a silly useless amount of power. IS350 IS GARBAGE.

People demand to see race videos to proof that you beat an M3 or whatever car. Now that he posted the video and time slip, they called it bs or the driver's fault. You can't win.

The IS350 is definitely not a race car, and I don't know anyone on this forum that believes it is. However, the 335i isn't a race car either.

Okay, I'll calm down. The IS350 is not a bad car, it has way better interior than the 335i and I'm sure it handles nice. But I've tried both cars and I liked the feel/drive of the 335i better. My friend who has a is350 as a daily driver who drove my car even said my 335i performs better than his car.
But I cannot see an IS350 kill a 335i. The I6 TwinTurbo engine has equal torque and equal horsepower. It pulls so hard. Even an STI can't catch up.

Welcome to CL where the IS350 is the faster car here
no matter what. I would run a IS350 with my old 1jz SC but I don't have 0-60 numbers or 1/4 mile times or hp/tq numbers for the bench racers so I guess it won't happen. 
The only IS350 guys I respect are the ones that actually take their cars to the track and run them caymandive etc, all the others are bench racers, don't get me started on some of the IS250 drivers who's feelings get hurt when a "cheaper" car like a Solara or Scion TC beats them.

Fact: this weekend caymandive won his class at MIR. Fact: there were e46's in his class. Fact: none of them ran faster then a 13.4
Fact: he saw a few 335i's running. Fact: none of them ran better then a 13.6
Fact: when my car was stock i was beating every e46 I raced.

Well how come every bmw driver out there seems to have major problems when lining up against an IS??

Easy FANBOY don't calm down keep going because I find a few good laughs out of your cauky *** comments. The 335i isn't the God of all cars so stop stroking your ego with your monthly issues of Car (BMW) and Driver. There will always be someone faster than you, it happens so build one of those big *** bridges and help yourself get over it. I believe your not the only 335i poster here so go back and read your fellow 335i owners and maybe you'll learn some respect. Here at CL we tend to have alot of respect for the OP. Troy is 34 I think he has other important things to flaunt about.

Be sure to post a video because no one buys that a "Corolla" can beat a 335i. I'm sorry but its BMW owners like him that pushes me away from looking into any BMW. You have a video that shows you who lost and yet some of them are so hardheaded that they can't see past there twin turbos.
