Be sure to post a video because no one buys that a "Corolla" can beat a 335i. I'm sorry but its BMW owners like him that pushes me away from looking into any BMW. You have a video that shows you who lost and yet some of them are so hardheaded that they can't see past there twin turbos.

Ok BMW fanboiz listen up, YES the 335i is a world class car, YES it can beat a is350 BUT... just cuz ppl buy a world class car doesnt automaticly make them a world class driver... The drivers are the weak point in the REAL WORLD, why dont you guys get it? A 335i is NOT gonna win every race cuz not all BMW drivers are John Force... Deal with it.

What's up. Long time, no see... Hope all is going well. I do need to get out in the Atlanta scene more and get involved in some events.
Anyway, I sold my B5 S4 (386 WHP, 416 WTQ) in the spring and picked up an E92 335i (327 WHP, 386 WTQ - should be more very soon). Of course I saw this thread and hoped you would be around.

Okay, I'll calm down. The IS350 is not a bad car, it has way better interior than the 335i and I'm sure it handles nice. But I've tried both cars and I liked the feel/drive of the 335i better. My friend who has a is350 as a daily driver who drove my car even said my 335i performs better than his car.
But I cannot see an IS350 kill a 335i. The I6 TwinTurbo engine has equal torque and equal horsepower. It pulls so hard. Even an STI can't catch up.

350 is the faster car, so how about don't bunch the entire forum together.
Since day one people have taken the IS 350 to the track, and posted times
and scanned timeslips of it being a mid 13 second car. People have done
things to it to make it a low 13 second car.
As one that HOSTS drag day events, in my OWN CAR, I've gotten whipped by IS
350s by a full second in the 1/4. 13.5 vs a 14.5. Stock IS 350s.
How can you talk about our IS 250 brothers and sisters?? Why not talk about
SC 300, GS 300 guys too. Or LS 460 guys since the LS 600 is out. NOT
EVERYONE BUYS A CAR FOR SPEED

Here's what I know. You joined CL specifically to post in this thread. Unlike the BMW forums you're used to, we have a strong sense of community here, and we post with maturity and respect towards each other. All three of your posts have been accusatory and inflammatory in nature, and right now you're overcooking my grits. If you'd like to continue posting here, I suggest you calm down, examine the evidence (timeslips and videos) presented, and converse like an adult. This goes for everyone posting in this thread.

Listen up 335iboy. I own a is350 and here I'm most infamous for racing on the streets. When you bring your car to California give me a call. I'd be glad to show you what a IS350 and Lexus drivers can do. If you join the CL just talk your smack, you haven't seen real Lexus owners in action.

i laugh at some of the comments on that video on youtube...
i'm just a car enthusiast no matter what.. it's great to see the is350 beating the 335i because there has been so many talks of bmw is more superior than anything.. however, i have much respect for the 335i.. i wouldn't mind owning one..
