Congrats to Combfilter for running an outstanding run!

I have seen a few other IS350 run low 13's but typically with weight reductions on top of intake and exhaust. (stipped interior, seats, spare, mats, 1/4 tank of gas)

Never under-estimate the importance of a good driver

I'm having a hard time believing that a stock M3 with DR can run 12.4, even with a good driver.

Nice run vs the 335. I would venture most IS350's would not match your time.

The best excuse I read on the E90 board as to why a 335 lost a race was that the driver may not have been pushing the accelerator all the way down.

Well for one you could use deductive reasoning. So lets see, for someone to run those kind of numbers most people will agree that you need roughly 450-500+ bhp right? Now for an inline 6 to achieve those kind of numbers you would need a turbocharger or supercharger. I would agree that most of us could easily identify an m3 with a turbo or supercharger by distinct sounds they make; Supercharger whine and turbo spool. Now either sound was present in both of the videos you saw. Hmmm

Anyway this is was happened and whether you choose to believe it or not thats up to you.

Oh im not saying it didnt happen, you just claimed that it was stock. When i had my 5.0 i would ALWAYS say it was stock too... BUT the question i really wanna ask is, why are you here? To defend the honor of BMW or something? The 335i is a world class car yes we all know that... but that doesnt make all 335i owners world class drivers so its not unexpected for one to lose once in awhile, right?

Lets just hope that isn't the best excuse they came up with because if it is then I'm worried of the IQ levels floating around.
