Less dusty pads for your IS350?

I was comparing part numbers of the front brake pads on the IS350 to the GS430 in hopes of finding a less dusty alternative for the IS. Turns out both part numbers are the same. However, the GS450h used a different part number. I pulled both of them out of the box to compare them and they are identical in every way as far as fitment goes. Check out the pic. The GS450h is on the left and the IS350, on the right. Could this be the dustless pad we've all been waiting for?

That is the part number in the US model GS430 TSB for the alternate, less dust, brake pad.
Flip the pads over and take some pictures of the markings. There should be some friction codes - typically FF or GG - that describe the friction material's resistance to fade.

My IS has less than 2,000 miles on it so I won't be replacing them anytime soon. I kind of want to wait and see how this pad pans out on other cars. (Don't want to be the guinea pig!)
I posted the info because I know a LOT of IS owners are very concerned about brake dust. I'm hoping this will be a good solution.

I went in for the TSB but they installed the 30410s which are the original pads! dummies!! Lobuxracer, what can you tell us about the friction rating on the GS pads? The GS pads look as though they have a smaller surface area,...for regenerative braking!!? Not too sure now if they will perform close to the oe pads.

So the pedal might feel a little harder with the less dust pad, but the brakes will perform closer to each other than if they were in different ranges.
