Thanks Dabigman!

Question for you. I sent an email to Jake (of vleds) telling him what the OEM flasher module part number is 81980-50020 and he replied back saying he carries this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOYOT...4772QQtcZphoto which happens to be the same one you bought from him for your car which is the 81980-50030

I guess I am up the creek as far as finding a replacement for mine to work with LED's.

hmm not sure if leds for the front will even work... i saw pics of the inside of the headlights from another thread and noticed that one of the yellow signal bulbs isn't forward firing, but rather up firing. you'll need to find a 90 degree led bulb that fires to the side to make it work...

they're for the lights outside... your signal lights.

hey dabigman, after changing out the flasher module, does your signal lights still flash when you lock/unlock your car? i just got around to changing out the flasher module and noticed my signals.. both the incandescent front signals and led rear signals don't flash anymore when i lock/unlock the car.

The light will not flash after the mod. I changed the front/rear turn signals to LED. Check out my post on headlight removal.

Would all of this apply to the rear turn signals as well?

I still think its strange that Lexus gave us LED brake lights, but not LED turn signals...

If you change the flasher, the lights will no longer flash when you arm/disarm the alarm.

Default Flasher Location on IS 350

Hey Dabigman,
Where is the turn signal flasher located? I would like to order the same parts you did. I just need to know where the flasher is located. Nice work by the way!!!

I bought the Toyota LED Flasher and Amber HPR bulbs. If you look at the pictures I posted you shouldn't have any trouble making sure you buy the right thing.

I have some pictures but I can't remember my upload account password and the one attachment limit here is too annoying to post like 10 pics.

Just turn on your flashers, get under your dash, reach your hand up there and you'll find it. You can feel it clicking. The flasher from V-LEDS.com works perfectly, but you do lose the lock unlock confirmation blinks.
