Default Eiback pro kit+front spoiler=scraaaaaaaaape!

Man It's hard to get used to that sound, esp after spending the $$ for the spoiler and lowering. How do you, with the same setup, get around scraping the spoiler. Is there any product you can put on to protect the underside of the spoiler?

the front spoiler isn't lower than stock so it has nothing to do with the scrapping. The only way to avoid it is park farther away from the curb.

there's a plastic wall that sticks down lower than your lip. if you hear scraping it is probably that first, unless your parking.

I agree. I have the Eibach Pro Kit and made it a habit from day one to park short of curbs or those concrete stoppers in parking lots. No scratches as of yet. (Knock on wood).

I wonder if parking assist would help.

this is bad news for me. I just ordered the pro kit, and have a steep driveway.

How steep is your driveway? I've been through steep driveways in San Francisco. Some I've approached head on with no problems. Some I had to approach on an angle because I didn't want to chance it. In any case, the pro kit is a conservative drop and is really not a big problem. You'll love it.

^^^^ what he said!

always try to approach at an angle, if you are not used to a lowered car with a lips spoiler it will take time.

Thanks guys. I do approach at an angle right now, but check this out. Our chassie is so stiff that when i hit it at an angle slowly, the rear wheel on the opposite side scrapes up in the wheel well. Then on the other side that rear wheel goes totally in the air.

the drive way isn't that step, compared to san fran, but for texas it is. kids jump their bikes in my driveway
