Default Should I do this myself ???

I have taken the car in for a rattle noise about 5 times already. They either pad the center dash piece or replace the piece along with the top air vent. I picked up the car yesterday and it still has a rattle. It seems that they fix one problem and they leave something else loose and another one shows up.

Should I just attempt to do this myself? If so, are there any recommendations you guys have as far as difficulty, what padding do the dealers use, hints on where to put padding, etc.

I'm extremely dissapointed because this is such a beautiful car and if I get rid of this problem I will truly enjoy it. The wierd thing is that it does most of the popping, crackling noises early in the morning when it is cold. It sucks because when I want to show my girlfriend or someone else that it's not me that's crazy and hearing things, the damn sound is either gone or too low.

If I talk to Lexus directly what do you think they can do for me?
