I'm using the exact same one...I wonder if this is a coincidence? I tell you what...I cant find a good place to install that damn receiver where it will make good metal to metal contact. Anyone have any suggestions?

I kept mine in the same place (under the carpet on the passenger side, under glove box) and just ran a wire from the box (used one of the screws on the box to attach the wire) and attached it to a bolt that was on the frame (this bolt had 2 wires already running to it with quick connect lugs). I just loosed it up, and slid the wire under and tightened her back up. However, I'm still having the issues, so maybe the grounding wire isnt making good contact or the case of the receiver unit is not grounded to its internals.

Did anyone here ground their SLS unit?
