Did anyone purchase the extended warranty with their 2IS? If so how much did it cost you? I realize it will vary from dealer to dealer but I want a rough estimate of what I can expect to pay for an extended warranty.

1995 would be fair for a 7yr 100k 0 deduct. platinum factory warranty. They have 5yr & 6yr 100k avail that you should pay bout 400-600 less. Also if you only drive bout 10k mi yr, then they also offer a 7yr 75k (1595 would be fair). Last but not least, a 6yr 70k also that will wrap the powertrain w/the platinum too..I'd say round 995 fair. All 0 deductibles, all platinum factory warranties. I say YES to warranties!! And I'd negotiate this price when making the deal on the vehicle, it could save you some hassle going back & forth w/the F&I person.

I paid 799 for 6 years/100K with a 100 dollars deductible from my credit union, I believe they use AutoLand. But it basically covers everything like the factory warranty does.
