Happy Holidays!
When I put my hand in the door handle and open the door, there are two beeps. I don't recall this happening before. Can someone tell me how to turn the beeps off. This is very annoying.

You get two beeps when the car unlocks, and one beep when the car locks. This happens whether you push the buttons on the key fob, or touch/push the button on the exterior door handle. I'm not aware of any way of turning the beep off, although I suppose it could be an obscure dealer-settable option.

I think the beeps serve a useful purpose, especially on locking the car. If there weren't any beep you wouldn't be sure if the car was locked or not. At least it is not as annoying as the people who have set their locking systems to sound the horn everytime they lock their vehicle. Now that's annoying.

Evitzee, I agreed with you about locking beep, but not evrytime when I open the door. Maybe I am too picky.

It's not every time you open the door, it's every time you unlock the car.

I asked the dealer to turn mine off, and they did. NO idea how
they actually went about it. NO beeps on lock, unlock etc.

sometimes i get more than 2 beeps.. I get 4 beeps.. It's the unlocking beep twice.. wonder why

I listen for the beeps. I don't look for the lights to blink or the sounds of the doors locking or un locking, I listen for the beeps. It's a sound of mind to me knowing the car has locked or un locked. No brainer ...

if you don't like the beeps, be sure the wash your car without the fob in your pocket!

I think the reason why is because you have your car set to just unlock the driver side door only when you press unlock on the key fob so it beeps twice and when you press it again to unlock the other doors it beeps two more times.

This is strange.

But I like it.

When I hit the button the car beeps to signify its locked. When I touch the handle it beeps again to let me know its unlocked.

If I open the car from the passenger side to open all doors it still only beeps once.

1 beep for lock
2 beeps for unlock

The factory setting is to have the lights blink. I had the dealer shut that off and listen for the beep instead.
