Post How much did you pay for an is350?

Hi, I have been lurking around this website and I have finally decided to buy the 2007 Lexus IS350. My question is directed towards the members in Southern California. How much did you walk out the door with your IS350? How much was your MSRP and your Invoice? Please let me know because I am trying to get the best deal I can possibly get!

There are ton's of postings on what people have paid for their rides. But remember the situation is always in flux depending on time of month, incentives, supply & demand, individual dealers situation, etc, etc., so 'your mileage may vary'. Start with the MSRP thread. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=208251 I don't think most owners want to perpetually post the same data everytime the question is asked. Pricing information can get stale pretty quickly, so use the latest info you can. In the end the price you pay will depend on the above conditions and how good a negotiator you are. Good luck.

Thanks for your reply, but I have already checked out that post. Someone offered me in Westiminister Lexus for 39,600 original MSRP of 42,000. This is a special order 350 + navigation. Do you think this is a good deal?

$39.6k seems high for an is350 w/ nav only. for reference, i got my 2k6 is350 w/ sports + nav + ML for $40k. then again, is it because it's a special order?

also, have you tried more than one dealership? if not, you should broaden your perspective and call/visit other dealerships. for example, try lexus of glendale; lots of socal CL 2is owners have gotten their 2is's from them.

good luck, and keep us updated.

only 2400 dollars off retail? i wouldn't take anything less then 4000 dollars off invoice, at least. remember depedning on model the difference between retail and invoice is like 5200 or so dollars.

it won't do you much good to call around unless you're interested in the dealer's current inventory. and based on the fact that you're getting a special order vehicle, calling becomes a moot point.

i haven't come across a dealer that will negotiate over the phone, so you're better off going to the dealerships yourself. good luck, and keep us posted.

How's it Projectdna?
So I've called around and one dealer offered me 37,782 MSRP of 42,282. What is your input on this?

FWIW, I got my IS350 last June for 4,100 off Msrp (43,909) which was a great deal at the time . . .

i'd say you got a good price over the phone. i didn't get much of a discount when i was calling around the dealerships. also, i've heard rumors that the is350 (2k6 variety) i was shopping around for (sports pkg + nav + ML) was considered "rare"; dealerships either had one in stock, or none at all. thus, they were less willing to part w/ their "one and only" for less than what they wanted for it. of course, that all changed when i showed up @ the dealership...

again, seeing as to how you're doing a special order, i still recommend going to the dealerships. IMO they take you more seriously as a buyer when you show up in person. good luck and continue to keep us posted!

get them to fax you over the cars invoice information including the VIN #. if they are serious about the price they quoted you then they should have no problem giving you what they are getting it for and how much they can sell it to you for.
