:P just picking. I like the half trunk pop, cause if I accidently hit and its raining my trunk doesn't get flooded. Always those WHAT-IFS

I agree. It's way too easy for keys and other items in your pants or purse to accidentally press the trunk button when you are in range (but out of sight) of the car.

The Mercedes S class has auto close feature on the trunk as well. But probably too expensive on the IS. How about those auto open and close driver and passenger doors on the mercedes in MIB2? j/k

It would be a nice feature, but it doesn't warrant me to complain that the IS doesn't have it. After all, it's supposed to be more "performance" oriented, then luxury.
It doesn't even take effort to open it. There are many things I would have liked on the IS, but then again....If I can afford, it I would be driving a LS460 right now.

I think we should have a motorized trunk floor that lifts whatever is in there a little higher so we don't have to bend over as much. Why stop there? Let's have the doors open and close all by themselves. Too much effort otherwise and who wants to touch that dirty, wet door handle anyway? After we've added all these motors, actuators, etc., and the IS weighs well over 2 tons...

I also want the audio system to change tracks using my BRAIN power! Too lazy to reach for the button on my steering wheel you know.
