Is that what matador red looks like on a really sunny day? That's WAY more red/orange than I thought it was, I always saw it as a much darker red.
Dang, that's just about as red as my cruiser!

I think the color looks great in the sun. I'm going to post some more pics in a bit. I've already had 2 people stop me and comment.

Dang, that's just about as red as my cruiser!
I've seen lots of them on the road, and even on sunny days I've never seen one look that shade. The picture in SolaraToIS signature (a couple posts above this one) is much more accurate.

Congratulations on the car. The Matador red can look many different shades depending on the time of day and the angle of the sun. Mine can look that warm orangy shade when the sun is low in the sky. I LOVE Matador Red.

I agree that the color shows differently at certain times of day. This was taken of our car on a suuny morning around 11:00am:
