Try SharePod (you can google for it). Itunes is a one way only transfer from a computer to an Ipod. You may be in for several more steps.
1) If you used Itunes to transfer from your CD collection to your Ipod the songs are MP4 which the car MP3 player can't read. You would have to find another 3rd party software to convert to MP4 to MP3.
2) If any songs on your Ipod where purchased from Itunes store they will be MP4P (protected). You will have to burn a CD which will convert MP4 to WAV format. Then you will have convert back to MP3.
Also keep in mind MP3 is an older compression format than MP4 so sound quality is slighty worse than the MP4. (more than likely you won't here the difference in a car)
If you really want to see the song titles you can get a 3rd party installation kit that has real Ipod integration instead of just a AUX input.

I'm still using ephPod. It's one of the simplest and most basic programs for getting music on and off the player; what I like about it is that unlike iTunes and many of the other alternatives, it isn't trying to sell you anything.
