Default Sport suspension change IS350

I've done some searching but I couldn't find what I was looking for.
As for my question.

Have any owners with a IS350 sport suspension lowered your car with only springs? I wanted to know what you thought about the handling after the change. What springs used and how much did it lower the car.

I know that the sport suspension will not lower as much as regular suspension on the IS.
Thanks for your help.

i don't think its wise to lower your car w/ springs on stock shocks. I dunno if the 2is are the same, but when i had my accord on eibachs, the shocks blew within a yr. but i'm sure handling does improve

I've always lowered my cars with only springs. I've never had a problem with the stock shocks. I've done this on Hondas, Acuras, and Infiniti.
Thanks for you input but I'm sure people here have done what I'm looking for.

I lowered my sport suspension with eibachs only and it handles much better, and ride quality did not suffer much at all. imo its the perfect drop, it got rid of the wheel gaps and still has good ground clearance to curbs and stuff....

The drop is perfect, but the only problem is with stock 18" wheels the neg camber sucks the wheels in by at least 1/2 to 3/4 inch. So if you don't like that look you are forced to get spacers to push them out.

I solved that problem by adding some 19x10.5's in the rear.
