I'm not sure what basis you have for making your statement about body roll, but based on prior research I did before installing one on my 1966 mustang, a sway bar will help to eliminate body roll. However, too much sway bar can cause too much oversteer, and too much sway bar coupled with aggressive cornering can cause the rear end of the car to break loose unpredictably. It's all about trade-offs.

I don't think it's negativity at all. The OP inquired about reducing roll. The (arguably) best way to do that is via the springs.

Stiffer sways can and do reduce roll but as mentioned previously, it may also reduce overall grip.

Big sway bars don't necessarily cause oversteer. It is the ratio in size between the front and rear that causes under / oversteer. If you put a larger front sway bar on a car, it will plow like a *****.

Not true. Just less ride height from the spring change. All the suspension parts are identical except springs and shocks.

BTW, ^^^ did you mean plow like a farm implement? All I can see is *****...

"Farm implement" is probably better than the explitive that I used.
