I've never seen a thread with so much confusion. I just got the call from my dealer today and my IS is due in port in two weeks. So what is the final tally? Is it really plug and play or not? I do believe the guys who say it is, and I want to do the work myself, but I don't want to have to deal with the headache if it is not plug and play.

Yes the confusion is killing me too.

I'm about to take apart my stock door sill to see if I have this "connector".

I want to buy the illuminated door sills to but i'm not sure if I have to do cutting or not.

What confusion? If you have an 07(all models). Plug it in. It will work

If you have an 06(Base or Premium), the plug is there, but doesnt work. Takes modification to work

Is this true for both American and Canadian versions? I am assuming it is, but just wanted to make sure.

Thanks, I hope you are correct.

Do you have the part number for the door sills? Just front driver and passenger.

How much are the illuminated door sills? Just the fronts?
