2008 Infiniti G35 Coupe or Lexus IS 350

I had a discussion with one of the real knowledgable sales guys at Infiniti while my coupe was in for service. He "expects" that the 2008 coupe will look almost exactly like the coupe concept. Pricing just a little higher than the 2007 sedan with comperable equipment. That would put a fully loaded version at about $40K. Engine at 306 hp with automatic and around 320 with the 6 speed. He also expects that Infiniti will do a tuner version to match the IS-F. Could be an 8, but most likely a turbo V6 of 3.7 liters. Not as aggressive or as expensive as the Skyline GT.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
From what I'm hearing, for handling and looks G35c>IS350. For refinement and quality IS350>G35c.
I do agree with the guy who owned 2 coupes before. Forgot his name, anyway the dealership does work against you, instead like Lexus for you.
I have owned both cars. As you can see, I've been on this board from like back in the day, just haven't as much in the latter years. Spend most of my time at the G forum.
I remember guys like 1sicklex and that Jin dude who owned a 93 Gs300.
Anyway, I do own a 2006 G35 coupe, and before that 03 G35 sedan. Have to agree with the rattle thing, and dealership treatment thing.
Toyota/Lexus are known for very good customer service, but I have to say I don't like how Lexus models all look alike. Even the new IS-F looks kinda like the 250.
I love the styling of the G35c, and you know what, I don't mind sacrificing a little interior crappiness for power, handling, and outward-styling. But hopefully they put it all together in the 08 coupe, other wise I'm switching back to Lexus and getting that beast of a IS-F, if the price is right.

The current G35 coupe does have a distinctive, classy look. I remember reading a magazine review of it as compared to its sister coupe, the flasher Nissan 350Z. The story goes:
There’s a party of cars where all are having a good time. The 350Z comes in like a cheerleader and says, “Hey, everybody, look at me!” Later the G35 coupe comes in quietly through a side door. In a few minutes everyone turns around and says, “Who is that?”
