Hey jjwalker,
Nice pick up, congrats. Age has nothing to do with this. You drive what you like. I happen to like both luxury and sport. That's why I went for the G35 over the 350Z. I also like the GS300 we have because sometimes I'm just in the mood to chill. Not much but sometimes. You'll love the acceleration of the Z. The handling is cool too.
Now you got other sites to prowl.

Actually, I'll let you find the rest. It's more fun that way.

It should be more of a IS350 vs. 350z... not the 250. Apperently you wanted something more agile and speedier. The IS350 will at least give you the speed factor a little.
I personally didn't go for the STi or the EVO because of my age and status. Even though I work in a profession that shows off rice rockets... it looks rather tacky when I pull up to a 5 star restaurant with a client/date in a car like that... not very impressive. If I was younger (29 now), and didn't have a serious profession job, I'd definitely go for the STi or Evo over the 350z.

Like the other person posted, there's a newer 350z coming out based on the new G35 engine HR, with 306hp if you really wanted the speed. Nevertheless, the Z is a pretty cool car.

I did almost the exact opposite...
I owned a 2002 Honda S2000 and a 2003 Nissan 350Z.
I loved that the Honda revved so high and handled so well. I dropped it with H&Rs and had some 18's on it. The thing handled like it was on rails. The gearbox was probably the best I've ever felt coming straight from the factory. The only thing it lacked was the low end power.
The Z on the other hand was not as impressive. The interior felt like it was lacking and felt quite "plasticky"? The power was great and the exhaust tone is beautiful. I loved the way the car looked too. Looking out the driver's side mirror over the rear left wheel looked like the side of a 911 Porsche. Gear shifter felt loose and the steering didn't feel as good as the Honda.
SO, here I am now with the IS350 and I love it. The power is there. The interior is luxurious, and I love the looks. Smartkey, bluetooth, and voice rec. nav are major bonuses too.

to all u saying that he should've bought the IS350 to begin with, i completely disagree. Sounds like he is an enthusiast driver who likes to row his gears, which we all know is not possible with the IS350.
