I really like the STI having 300 hp, 300 torque and manual but the 3 mouth body really isn't eye catching at all.
Um, the new WRX will appear at the NY Auto Show and April and the STI will follow at the Tokyo Motor Show. And if I were to recommend an STI, it would be a 2007 because the 2007s have the better gear ratios...no more shifting to 5th in the quarter mile.

Turbo charge engine /MT /Reliability(had it for almost 3yr no problem)
and i down grade to my IS250, cuz i think IS250 will have some potential in the future, just going to wait and see
but Turbocharge Car is fun, IS and Sti are complete different car, you need to really take your time and think about it if you want the IS or Sti
if you going for Sti i will say wait abit, cuz i think they going to change the pig nose look soon, but thats if you want somthing different

spell check is your friend.....

my friend just purchased a 2005 STI to go along with his 05 2.5 rs and he's really loving the car. It really depends if you want an insanely powered, fun to drive car, or a luxury sedan that has a lot of cool features yet isn't that fast.

You mean the STI limited right which is coming out later this year but they still have the Alfa Romeo style. What I am trying to say is that The 2006-2010 year will still be in the 2nd gen STI with the Alfa Romeo style. The STI will not change that appearance till the 3rd gen comes out. Which will be the end of 2010 because every 4 years the STI will go through a complete new redesign and different appearance.

Thank you to everyone for your comments. I am 90% sure I will be making the trade, its just a matter of time now. I went to the Auto Expo today in Utah and that really pushed me in the direction of the STi. After driving home today, I kept asking myself, do I really need all these gadjets? Sure they're fun and everyone is impressed with it, but what I need is a car that makes me want to DRIVE. I thought after 7 years with a manual, an automatic would be better, but I find myself with regrets. I even offer to drive my carpools Suzuki Esteem wagon just because of the manual.

I guess thats it, STi here I come. Tell your friends and family that there is a 2006 IS250 AWD GFM (11k miles) with all the options (Lux, Nav, ML, etc...) on craigslist! BTW, anyone want my GReddy SP2 exhaust? []

You should have bought the IS250 in manual instead of the AWD if you miss the manual so much. But the STI does have 300 hp and it will be alot of fun drive. So good luck on getting your STI.

What the hell are you talking about, the limited has been out for months!?

The "alfa look" (or as Subaru guys call it, Pig Nose) is done after this year, all it was was a second model refresh, it is still a GDB, just like the 2002. New WRX is an 08, it will be released in April of this year, if you disagree with me, then go argue with 130,000 people here: www.nasioc.com
