Default are more 250 drivers getting rid of their cars (than the 350)?

One guy traded his for a Civis Si
One guy traded his for a 350Z
one guy traded his for IS350 (me)

on the other hand, I've seen a few 350 drivers trading the 06s for 07s.

in my case, I came from an 04 Corvette and REALLY missed the power -- every time I saw a 350 I felt like I had bought the wrong car, not to mention I wished I had gotten a fully optioned NAV/LUX car. So after about only 5000 miles on the 250 I sold it (months ago) and recently got a fully loaded 350 and couldn't be happier!

I wouldn't trade my car for civic si. I kinda regret not buying IS350, i'm still enjoying my IS250 VERY MUCH.

1) People are disappointed in how the 250 delivered in comparison to their expectations
2) The 350's engine makes up for a large portion of the car's shortcomings

i just got my 250 and am extremely happy with it. it has all that ive ever wanted. sure the 350 would give me more power but man i still love coming out in the morning and seeing my baby there just waiting to be driven! first lexus... all mine... im proud of it. perhaps in a few years i can get an is-f hehe

note: i went from a honda prelude and it was perfect in power for me who doesnt crave the need for speed so much as the need to cruise and look good doing it (prelude: 195hp about = lexus: 205hp)

Same here. My first car was a '95 Civic EX modded to race. My second is my current car, a '97 Civic EX for show use. Now I'm going to an '07 IS.

Traded my IS250AWD for the IS350 w/NAV-LUX

Couldn't be happier. I bought the 250 11/05 and just couldn't get either a 250 with Nav or the 350...period.

So last month I made the trade. Current milage is about 300.

maybe people trading in the 250's are doing so for financial reasons. But I have noticed a few more people trading in 250's as opposed to the 350's.

LOL..that's why some of the 06' owners here in Miami are spending $124 just to install the sharkfins on the 06 models..hahaha

Anyhow I came from an 01' Pontiac Grand Am SE..Automatic slow poke rental car ! I bought myself the 250 b/c frankly I believe that spending around $40k for a 350 was waaay to much for me..I got my car at around $29 w/ 6k already on it..has Navi/Lux as well...

Basically I believe some just go for the IS250 b/c the only difference is in the HP..Here in Miami the roads suck and there's a bunch of traffic...so the 250's really hot in the market down here..

As for me though...I'd like an '08 G35 when it comes out so Im planning on trading it in...

IMO, people are crazy with swapping their cars all the time. Talk about living in debt forever (unless of course you win with the numbers... but from what i see this is rare). I had a '98 altima for ~7 years and 170k (lots of college commuting) before i decided to spend some dough on a newer (and much nicer) car, lol. I'm extremely pleased with my 250. I love it to death, it should be paid off in about 16 months and I foresee myself keeping it for a very long time.

Civic Si? Either that person couldn't make the payments or he wanted to fix it all up with performance parts.

The 2 main reasons people get the IS250 are..

1) Don't need the extra HP... happy with the HP for the IS250.

2) Don't have the money to just splurge, so might as well conserve it.

Trading in any new car in its first year is not a good decision IMHO.
