i heard it was pretty easy if you have the template that it is suppose to come with... a couple drill bits as instructed and bam! but ill probably install mine myself in a couple weeks and take pics for a spoiler DIY

Dude, if you got the normal spoiler that everyone on here has it's way to easy. Dremel the screws off. I wouoldn't even mess with those. make them flush. Actually if you are lucky like me while you are dremeling them they heat up so hot they just come out. Then use that doublesided tape from 3m and put it everywhere you don't already see the double sided tape. Walk out and slap it on. took me 10min

yea me too. I got that red 3m tape you get at an auto parts store. It's like 4.00. I stuck it in the places that didn't already have tape. To be honest, I don't think you need it, but i did it just in case. I have got my is up to 140 and its still on my car. Its nice and flush too.

Yup, definitely a DIY project. Just like everyone else said, cut off the 3 screws and put extra 3M double-sided tape where the screws were, and you're good to go. Save your money and install it yourself . . .

It comes with plenty already. I took the screws on mine off and only used the tape provided already on the spoiler. It's on there like cement. It's not going anywhere. Just wipe down with alcohol before to get any oil or other stuff off so you get a good surface to bond to. If it's any indication, I labored over whether to drill or not for over a week. I'm a pretty conservative and safe person. I wouldn't have done it if I thought it would be a hazard to me or anyone else driving behind me.

DO NOT drill holes! You do not need to. There is plenty of 3m tape on the spoiler already. It is too easy to install even if you are not a DIYer. You will eventually find a spoiler you like better and you will not be left filling 3 holes that were not necessary to begin with. Good Luck

For me, it was the peace of mind it will never come off. So I drilled and bolted it on the way the dealer would. I don't have any intentions of changing it. It took me less than 30 mins. I coated the holes with rust inhibitor and sealed with silicone. Total cost = $188.

yea i removed the holes too last yr..

I used that to put my spoiler, and lip kit on~ been over a yr and it holds on great.
*before you guys call me ghetto. you should realize that the OE lip kit has clips that is mounted on my tape anyway.. so it makes no diff.. acutally its probably better to remove it and add longer strands of tape .
